Every time I ask my parents if they want anything special for Christmas, for their birthday or for any other occasion, I get the same response: Send us some nice pictures of the little ones.
So, I take quite a few pictures of my kids *hubby next to me raising an eyebrow*. Ok, I take a lot. I take A LOT of pictures of them. I also think it’s important to get some nice family pics taken from time to time. By a professional photographer, I mean. I want my kids to be able to look through some beautiful pictures of their childhood later. And I want my parents to see their grandchildren grow up now (I suspect them to show the pics to all of their friends and neighbours and probably even the postman, but that’s ok😉 ).
Sounds familiar? Then I have a little gift for you. I’ve teamed up with dear friend Racha from Racha Hallak Photography to offer one of you lovely ladies (and gents) a photo session and 5 digital high resolution pics that you can send home to your loved ones for the festive season. If you simply want some nice memories for yourself, then that’s of course totally fine as well.

How can you win?
To participate, simply follow and on Facebook and tell us in the comment section below where and how you are planning to spend Christmas this year. Just be spontaneous. There are no wrong answers😉
A winner will be picked on Friday, December 9 and notified by email.
Terms and conditions
The competition is open to readers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The winner is requested to contact Racha within a week time to confirm and agree on a date for the shoot. The prize must be redeemed before the end of February 2017. The offered photo session is for family and kids portraits only and cannot be used for birthdays or any other events. Extra pictures may be purchased for AED 50 each.
Good luck xxx

We usually go back to my country for Christmas and celebrate with the family. But this year, we decided to stay in Dubai and celebrate the three of us only! My hubby, Luca and me! Although i miss my family like crazy and Christmas should be spent with all loved ones, we preferred staying here instead of travelling because of the hassle which comes with travelling with a toddler and plus, my hubby will be taking two weeks off (CHRISTMAS MIRACLE), so we have so many things on mind to do with Luca! And, hopefully, a photoshoot? 😜

Aww…, that’s perfect for me. Absolut a fan from, to have a lot pictures. 😉 We spend our Christmas in germany. Very traditional, with the whole family. Everyone wants to see little Romeo. And already bought a lot of presents for him. 🙈 Presents will be open in the evening on the 24th. We have a big Christmas tree. For sure, a real one. 🎄😊 And for dinner we have Potato salad and sausage/ Bockwurst. 😂 Very german… 🙈

Christmas this year will be very different from any before and any in the future – we are having a little girl and she could make her debut anyday.. so all our plans are on ice and we got the hospital bags packed and ready – Christmas dinner has been ordered but might become a hospital take out 😜
Hoping to win this amazing prize – it would be so amazing to capture our new adventure as a family of 4 💜🎉

Moved to Dubai this year with our two young children and so this is our first christmas away from home and all the family. We are begging one set of grandparents to make the trip for Christmas and New year, but the plan so far is a lovely eve at home with a nice cosy dinner, wine for the adults ; ) some family games suitable for a 2 year old and then cookies and milk by the tree for Santa before heading to bed! And the real excitement is Christmas morning with the unwrapping of the gifts!!! ( Need to find a place to hide all the gifts in tiny Dubai appartment otherwise I ll be convincing myself that a 2 yr old will be patient enough till Christmas morning😀 )

With a newborn in tow as you know -each day is a learning experience and we’re looking forward to tons of new mistakes and Lessons and achievements in the year to come. Would love to win a photo shoot as friends and family back home are dying to have a sneak peek into our new journey.

Our family of four (Nikhil 5 and Riya 2) just moved to Dubai this summer, so this will be our first holiday season away from our extended family in the US. If we can’t be with our family, what better way to celebrate than to travel? We’ll be spending Christmas in Bali and coming back to Dubai to ring in the new year!

This year will be the first year that my baby girl will be able to participate in the festivities. Last year she was a little to small to realise what was happening. This year to make it extra special we will surprise her every day until Christmas with some plushes, some handmade gifts and some lego figurines. Also plenty of Christmas tunes to dance to and homemade gingerbread to snack on. Christmas Day it’s opening presents followed by a family brunch. It’s hard to celebrate Christmas away from the folks, the siblings and friends but I also realise it’s a good opportunity to create new memories and new traditions. I’m so stoked for the season.

We honestly still haven’t made plans for Christmas this year, though it will be quite different as it’s our first Christmas with a new addition – our soon to be 7-month old little girl🙂 Thinking to stay put in Dubai and chill, or maybe book a last-min flight to somewhere cold for a white christmas. Whatever it is – it will be nice – as it will be with family, plus it will be our little girl’s first Christmas. I can’t wait🙂

I belong to a Muslim family so we don’t really do much at home but that doesn’t stop us from enjoying this beautiful and festive occasion with our friends that come from different parts of the world. We’ve already started since last week and celebrated with my daughters girl guides since the kids will be off for Christmas and won’t be able to see eachother. A whole lot of other fun parties and activities are lined up including secret santa which happens to be my girls favourite. Christmas and Eid is that time of the year when we feel so grateful and blessed to have so many beautiful people in our lives that keep us busy.

My favourite time of the year is upon us!🙂 We are spending Christmas at home here in our lovely Dubai…with the cooler weather coupled with all the Christmas fairs and bazaars around the city…why be anywhere else? To kick start the festivities we are throwing a Christmas party for our 3 children and their friends this weekend; so I have been busy transforming our living room into a Winter Wonderland. It would be the perfect setting for a family shoot.🙂
